Hi MarisaPink’s here

“I’m geeky, beautiful and everything in-between”

Marisapink has been my internet name over 12 years ago. I started getting well known on the retired site called Miiverse. Since then, I’ve been growing more and more of my art. Other than doodling, I also craft, crochet, do a tiny bit of modding, and play sonic and most nintendo games. I’ve recently got into sewing. My personality is quite bubbly but also calm and collective. I’m am of course 20 something years old ^^. I enjoy memes, Kawaii things, cartoons, and exploring different video games.

Where am I?

You’re in an interactive website silly. Welcome to the digital home of my imagination. Because I’m so happy to share, I am going to display all the awesome drawings I’ve made and all of the fandoms I love. I will also explain all my journeys and challenges as being a kawaii, whimsical artist. Just being an amateur artist, there is more room to improve and perfect my art each day. All of my gaming habits and interests will be shown on my gaming page. My Sims page will showcase both my sims 4 gaming and my sims/OCs. And there is so much more that is coming ahead. Please feel free to look around and play around with things you see.

For Example, here’s a whiteboard that you can draw over there

How were you able to make such creative art?

Firstly, I'm so grateful to God for even being gifted the ability to imagine my interpretation of the world. My creativity engraves to a clear image when I traditionally draw. Making my digital art is like envisioning a story ready to be told. Traditional art materials I typically use are Crayola color pencils for color, Micron fine black pens for lineart, and Sakura white gelly pens for highlights. Digital art software I normally use is Autodesk: Sketch Book, Clip Studio Paint, and sometimes Paint Tool Sai (for easy vectoring). Nature (or landscape) pictures I create are more on the whimsical and peaceful side. My OCs are between 13-20 years old and each represents a part of my personality. My creative processing starts by taking the concept of a color, object, theme, or brand. Then, I put it into a translated image of anime, doodles, or natural elements.

Who inspired your art style?

Ever since I was young, I loved watching Tv and cartoon animations. One show, in particular, struck me as a young little girl. I was obsessed with The Power Puff Girls along with Sponge bob and other great cartoon shows. I’ve always been inspired by Craig McCracken’s and Lauren Faust's creative direction when creating animation. I just love how stories can be written so well to have people on edge and immerse themselves into a new, exciting world. This is why I also enjoy watching Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli movies because it has that same feeling of warmth while providing a fantasy illustration scenery. Miho Shimogasa (Sailor Moon and Powerpuff Girls Z), Natasha Allegri (Bee and Puppy cat and Adventure time), Takeuchi Ko ( Warioware and Rhythm heaven), and other various artists from gaming and anime has mainly inspired my art style because simply adore whimsical, cute, kawaii things and nature.
